In-Kind Donations
SFCAPC's facility needs your generous donations!
The following is a list of ongoing needs for the Center:
- Prepared food trays for scheduled client events (Costco, Safeway, etc.)
- Gift cards for parents/families (Safeway, Costco, Smart & Final, MUNI passes, long-distance phone cards, movie tickets, zoo passes, circus/special event tickets)
- Kid-friendly dry/canned food pantry items (for families to take home)
- Holiday and seasonal needs (Halloween costumes, Mother’s Day gifts, back to school backpacks and supplies)
- Teen activities (DVDs, computer games, books)
- Children’s clothing and shoes
- Art supplies (construction paper, stickers, glitter, yarn)
- Playroom supplies (diapers, infant formula, dress-up clothes, play therapy toys, children’s snacks)
- Respite Care supplies (sandbox, wagons, strollers, garden furniture)
- Health aids (Desitin, first-aid kits, bath soap, toothpaste)
- Children’s books
- Furniture (for Center’s counseling rooms and hallways) and appliances (freezer, vacuum cleaner)
- Meeting space/rooms (events for 20/50/100 guests)
- Gardening/landscaping services/facilities maintenance
- Thank you treats/gifts for volunteers and staff.

Donate to Community Thrift Store
Donate your gently used items to Community Thrift Store in San Francisco and ask to have the proceeds benefit the SF Child Abuse Prevention Center (Code #102).
Location: 623 Valencia Street, San Francisco (Donation Door is on Sycamore Alley, parallel to 18th St, between Mission/Valencia)
Donation Times: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, daily
What: Adult clothing, shoes and accessories, housewares, furniture, books, music, movies, and more!
All donations must be clean and in good saleable condition. Visit Community Thrift's website for more details on what items are acceptable, items they do not take, and details regarding furniture pickup.
