Winter Wonderland Tea

Thanks to everyone who helped make the Second Annual Winter Wonderland Tea a memorable event! More than 100 parents and children enjoyed a festive afternoon on the 32nd floor of the Westin St. Francis, complete with face painting by our friends at Skyana, arts and crafts, delicious treats, and a gingerbread house raffle. Our deepest gratitude to our event chairs, Hilary King and Cynthia Foster, and the rest of the Auxiliary for making this event possible. Happy holidays!

SF Marathon

The Second Annual Munchkin Fun Run was a great success! More than 300 munchkins turned out to run and support SFCAPC. Apolo Anton Ohno and Jared "the Subway guy" came out to cheer the kids on and even ran a couple of the races with them. Kids chased hares (a couple of kids dressed as rabbits) along the course and a friendly costume tortoise followed behind the group and kept the walkers company. Every child received a finishing medal and got to celebrate with freshly made tacos from Tacolicious and a goodie bag filled with delicious snacks from Giddy Snacks, SunTropics, Pretzel Crisps, and Pirate's Booty. We raised nearly $1,000 at the Marathon Expo and the San Francisco Marathon made an incredible $10,000 contribution to SFCAPC! Our adult marathon team raised more than $6,500 - the most raised by an SFCAPC marathon team to date! Congrats to all!
